Performance Features
The 2025 BMW X3 base edition is equipped with a 2.0-liter engine, which whips out a maximum of 255 horsepower at 4,700 RPM. Taking advantage of turbocharged technology, the I-4 engine delivers up to 295 pound-feet of torque at just 1,600 RPM. In contrast, the 2025 Audi Q5 doesn't get more than 201 hp and 236 lb-ft of torque from a 2.0-L turbo engine. Built on the TFSI technology, the standard I-4 engine includes the Audi Valvelift System. You'll only get seven gear speeds from the Q5's S tronic transmission system, which includes dual clutches. The 2025 X3 boasts an eight-speed automatic gearbox with more overall versatility. This luxury BMW SUV has an xDrive system with a limited-slip differential for optimal traction. Likewise, the Q5 offers the patented Quattro AWD system with excellent all-weather capabilities. The sporty X3 M50 model harnesses up to 393 hp from the M TwinPower engine. Having an inline layout, the six-cylinder engine unleashes 428 lb-ft of torque at 1,900 RPM. This boosted engine accelerates the car from 0 to 60 mph in 4.4 seconds. Riding on the Adaptive M Suspension, the M50 trim offers a luxurious ride on any pavement. Additionally, this lavish X3 edition has the Variable Sport Steering for greater control and agility on the road.
Technology Features
You'll get the latest BMW Operating System 9 technology on the 2025 X3. This advanced firmware is packed with mobile-friendly features, such as Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The My BMW app lets you easily sync your smartphone with the infotainment system. The BMW Digital Premium suite adds the Intelligent Personal Assistant for custom guidance. You'll also get the BMW Maps with advanced data in the integrated GPS navigation system. Measuring 14.9 inches diagonally, the central touchscreen has a curved design for optimal visibility. You won't get such a large display on the 2025 Q5's MMI infotainment console. However, this Audi SUV offers a 12.3-inch instrument panel with HD graphics.
Design Features
The 2025 BMW X3 has an advanced ambient lighting system, generating 15 different glows. You could turn on the RELAX Mode for a soothing commute. This setting produces a relaxing blue hue inside the cabin. If you want a more exciting mood, turn on the Sport Mode. This custom setting projects red lights throughout the cockpit. You'll also see the dramatic illumination in the central Interaction Bar. The 2025 Audi Q5 doesn't offer such unique ambient lights. However, both luxury SUVs come with climate-controlled front seats. Get the Sky Lounge panoramic sunroof if you want to see sweeping sky views.
