The 2025 BMW X1 xDrive28i model gets slightly more than 240 horsepower from a 2.0-liter engine. A seven-speed, dual-clutch transmission system is standard on both X1 models. The 2025 X5 sDrive40i extracts up to 375 hp from the 3.0-L M TwinPower engine. Adopting an inline formation, the six-cylinder engine dispenses roughly 400 lb-ft of torque. This high-end BMW SUV goes from a standstill to 60 mph in 5.3 seconds. An eight-speed automatic transmission propels the 2025 X1 base trims. This premium gearbox has several upgrades for the X5 M60i. Displacing 4.4 L, the M TwinPower V-8 engine propels this upscale SUV. This custom-built powerhouse generates just over 520 hp. Compressing fuel at 10.5:1, the eight-cylinder engine cranks out more than 550 lb-ft. The M Competition trim taps into nearly 620 hp from the V-8 engine block.
Handling
