Trim Levels

There are two available models for the BMW iX.

The xDrive50 comes with standard features like 20-inch wheels and a 516-horsepower electric powertrain.

The BMW iX M60 adds exterior features like 21-inch wheels, adaptive air suspension, and adaptive headlights. Interior features, like a heated steering wheel, and heated rear seats, as well as massaging and ventilated front seats, make driving around Edwardsville a joy. Additional technology upgrades include a Wi-Fi hotspot and a Bowers & Wilkins stereo system.

Performance

The xDrive50 version of the BMW iX features a pair of electric motors and a battery pack and makes 516 horsepower with up to 324 miles. The newly introduced M60 dials up the horsepower to a whopping 610 horsepower and has a range of 288 miles. Both versions have standard all-wheel drive. Highland drivers can enjoy rocket-like acceleration with the xDrive50 hitting 60 mph in under 4 seconds while the M60 cuts it down to a neck-breaking 3.2 seconds. Drivers can quickly charge the BMW iX with a DC-fast charging station adding about 80% charge in about 35 minutes. The 2023 BMW iX has an EPA-estimated 86 MPGe for the xDrive50, while the M60 returns 77 MPGe.
