On Thursday, July 9, 2009, Newbold Toyota BMW Scion sponsored an MDA Lock-Up event. Hosted in the BMW showroom at 1283 Central Park Drive, O'Fallon, IL, 62269, the event ran from 9 o'clock in the morning thru 4 o'clock in the afternoon. Jen Frescoe, the St. Louis areas Program Director, reports that the Newbold event raised over $22,000.00 for MDA and Jerry's kids.

Kent Newbold, President, was extremely pleased to hear the results of the MDA Lock-Up event. "This event brought excitement and customers into our business and helped MDA and Jerry's kids. I recommend that every organization, no matter how big or small, host an MDA event. It is a 'win' for everybody involved."

Two million volunteers are the driving force that enables MDA (www.mda.org) to accelerate its worldwide research program and provide diagnostic and follow-up care through 220 clinics nationwide. Volunteers are the backbone of the Association's programs, helping with summer camp, support groups, seminars, Telethon, special events and many other programs.
